Russell A. Lane

Chief Executive Officer

Russell is a Board Director and the founder of Brunel. He is responsible for the overseeing of all the Company’s operations.

Matt Harlin ACII

Managing Director

Matt is a Board Director of Brunel Insurance Brokers. He joined the group in December 2017 to create the corporate division. He is responsible for leading the team and the wider strategy, and maintaining key client and insurer relationships.

Alice Hardcastle Cert CII

Personal Lines Manager

Alice is one of our personal lines managers. She has over 8 years of experience in the industry dealing with all types of personal lines insurances. Alice is responsible for managing our existing book of business and new business, as well as developing and maintaining insurer and client relationships and the day to day running of the personal lines team. Alice is also on her way to achieving her Diploma in insurance.

Sadie Tincknell Cert CII

Personal Lines Manager

Sadie joined in 2019 and brings a wealth of knowledge and 14 years experience to Brunel. She joins Alice in managing the Personal Lines team and works to take care of both new business and renewals. Sadie is also working towards her Diploma in insurance.

Siobhan Moore

Director - Group Finance

Siobhan heads up our Accounts Team and is responsible for all functions of our accounting department, from collecting and paying Insurer money to the management of accounts.

Chris Ladkin ACII

Chairman

Chris is a key part of the management team, having been a board director of various other insurance brokers over the last 30 years. He is responsible for advising the board and looking after key clients.

Sally Cutler

Director - Operations

Sally has worked within insurance and financial services for over 30 years. Based in our Bristol office, she oversees the operations, HR and IT of the Group while managing the wider operations team. She is also executive PA to the CEO and the Managing Director.

Simon Lewis

Account Handler

Simon has been with the team since 2016 and works to issue renewals, specialising in Property Owners and Motor policies. Simon is working towards his Cert CII.

Katherine Cleeves Cert CII

Account Handler

Katherine joined Brunel in 2020. She brings 13 years' of industry knowledge, which she uses to source new business quotes, create adjustments, answer queries, and manage claims.

Phil Narbrough

Account Handler

Phil brings over 10 years’ insurance experience to his role and looks after our high net worth clients. He executes quality service and complete discretion, while ensuring a smooth insurance process for each client. He is currently working towards his Cert CII qualification.

Chloe Blackborow

Account Handler

Chloe has 10 years' insurance broking experience and looks after our high net worth renewals. Her many years of experience, attention to detail and pleasant disposition ensures our high net worth clients receive a bespoke service. Chloe is currently working towards her Cert CII qualification.

Rachael De’ath

Account Handler

Rachael creates renewals for our private clients and places them with appropriate and reliable insurers with the best levels of cover. She uses her 4 years' industry experience to deal with any and all client queries and any mid-term adjustments, ensuring that they are also competitive. Rachael is currently studying towards her Level 3 Insurance Practitioner qualification as well as her Cert CII.

Steve May Cert CII

Director - Markets and Strategy

Steve has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Steve joined Brunel Insurance Brokers to manage provider relationships, advance our broking strategy and develop exclusive products. His focus is on delivering value to our clients.
